A (much needed) walk

I have been lazy. L-A-Z-Y. I have not touched our double stroller since November. It has been sitting in our foyer, served as a cell phone charging station for five long months.

I feel so guilty, I don't ever want to look at it--and be reminded that I used to use that thing on a daily basis.



But this morning, I, I mean, we finally took the stroller out. It was a gorgeous day here--overcast, blue skies here and there, low clouds, temperature in the upper 60's.

It was the perfect weather for a walk, a much needed walk.

We found a beautiful, quiet trail that was covered with gorgeous greenery, horse manure, and some very welcomed sunlight. We met and greeted a few morning joggers, dog walkers, and bicyclists. Everyone seemed to enjoy being in this out-of-this-world quietness.

We did, too, and we brought the kids along.

I relished every minute of it, before we had to go back to the busy world.
