i ♥ faces week 24--Let's Hear It For The Boys!

To honor special men in our lives, over here at

It's all about the boys!

Kids:
This is Caleb, my son. This is a face he's learned from one of his uncles.

Adults:
This is a picture of my husband, who is in the middle, and two of his brothers (He has four in total). This was taken when we were on vacation this past May. I know how much he misses being with his brothers.

I can not tell you how much I love the second photo. As a mom of three boys (who are entering teens) I pray they are close like that when they are adults. Loved your first photo also.

I LOVE your adult entry! I think it is such a classic "man" shot. They are having good conversation, laughing and joking around. Great capture and the clarity is amazing!

Rosina... great shots as usual!! I love seeing what you come up with!!

Your kid entry made me smile. The adult entry made me laugh because I almost chose a photo of men sitting on a bench showing "typical" male conversation style. Great entries, I think you are a winner contender!

Four brothers? Four?! Wow, I can only imagine the mischief in which they found themselves. I really love the shot of the three fellows, how they are just there together, not grinning at the camera. Great color. And the angle on your son is just wonderful! Love it.

About me

I am a wife to a loving, thoughtful husband, a mother of two little angels. Because of my husband's job, we have relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles three years ago. I miss everything back East..NYC, Gray's Papaya, the subway..but know that LA is where God wants us to be right now. His grace is sufficient; I can't live through a day without depending on Him. My love affair with photography began when I was sixteen years old, when I saw a photograph taken by my cousin at South Seaport in NYC--it was a light switch turned on somewhere inside me. When I came home, I dove into photography. Since then, I've always had a burning desire to pursue photography. It was unfortunately cut short due to choosing another field of study during my college years..not until I became a stay-at-home mom and a God-given opportunity early this year, I was able to finally reunite with this passion..and the rest is history.
