Blessings, Opportunities, Shockers..and a Bit Overwhelmed...?
Life has been sailing through some unpredictable, but adventurous waters lately. It's exciting to watch things unfold in ways that I never expect; it is also scary at the same time. It's exciting because I know for sure the Big Guy upstairs is orchestrating every incident. It's scary because humanly speaking, I feel completely unfit, unequipped, and insufficient for what is laid out for me.
But I also remember,
"What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
Romans 8:31, 32
Romans 8:31, 32
I want to do this right. I am pursuing after this incredible opportunity, and I am making more plans. But I have to wait for His timing at every step. I have to remember that I am a follower of Christ, a wife, a mother, in that order. Whatever comes after becomes a gift, a blessing. I have to keep my eyes focused, set my mind on the things above, and not on the things that are here on earth. Once I lose my focus (which happens often), everything becomes meaningless. I have to allow the Big Guy above to lead the way..even if it means one step at a time, even if it means I can't see too far ahead yet.
Meanwhile, during this amazing, unbelievable journey, I am so thankful for my dear husband's constant support. He's a man who is hard to please, and to have him support me full on with this journey of mine means the world to me. I am also thankful for my friends' never-failing encouragements, and my kids' never-ending inspirations. All I can say, much, much is brewing at this moment, and it would not have happened without any of them. I truly am grateful.
Life has many blessings, opportunities, and some shockers. For now, it is a bit overwhelming...in a good way.
