It rained yesterday morning--a rare sight here in Los Angeles. I wanted to take Caleb to a library about 15 miles away from our home, so we got dressed, ready to go.

Only I made a last minute decision to stop at Kohl's instead, which was less than a mile away.

It was raining. Who really wanted to drive 15 miles away in the rain? Clearly, that was my excuse. Good thing Caleb is still in his short-term memory stage, and he didn't question me.
